This is a solid walnut renaissance era dining table we created for an interior designer in NYC for a large estate in Connecticut. It is a nine foot dining table that can accommodate ten people when closed and fourteen people when the two extension leaves are open. This table has elements of the late Renaissance furniture style, with spiral turns, solid walnut (oak was also popular during this period), inlay, geometric square pattern, and a carved base.
Pictured is a custom regency dining table with an insert marble top we created. The table was made out of solid mahogany with a French hand polish finish. It has a single pedestal and a quadripartite base. This project is featured in the December 2013 issue of Architectural Digest.
